For the first time in probably MLB history, the crowds are silent. A baseball game was played without fans on the stands, I am certain, you could hear a pin drop.
The intro to today’s letter seems like something out of an apocalypse movie.Yet, it is the truth, at least for the city of Baltimore.Where for the first time, in it’s history a game was played without the screaming fans, and the usual fanfare. The sight is heart breaking to say the least.
I had hoped those pictures were simply not true. So when I ask myself, what will be gained from all the riots and marching. I will look back at this page, and that will be the answer.
Not even the year the Twin Towers fell, did anything this grim happen to America’s pass time. Evil persist when good people do nothing, and while some maybe blame the destruction on people who don’t live in the city. Or say, those were not the protesters for Freddy Gray,or further more, we are sick of being poor and disenfranchised just remember. Excuses are like arm pits, everybody has them and they all stink.
Sometimes, times of civil unrest are a necessary evil, just make sure what you gain from it, is far more than what you stand to lose.
